[PDB Gov] Results of 2017 Election of PeeringDB Board of Directors

The 2017 election for the PeeringDB Board of Directors has concluded.

There were 6 candidates this year for 3 available Director seats.

117 organizations were registered to vote, and from them, 103 ballots were 
counted.

The winners in order of vote count and thus seat occupied:

  Seat 1 (term expires 2019): Bijal Sanghani
  Seat 3 (term expires 2019): Arnold Nipper
  Seat 5 (term expires 2019): Patrick W. Gilmore

Appreciation to the other candidates for running:

  Mehmet Akcin
  Kate Gerry
  Nick Harland

Gratitude to outgoing Director Matt Griswold for his service since 2015.
